eBooks or physical books?
Physical book always wins out for me!! The smell, the feel….need I go on??
Paperback or hardback?
Hardback. Something very lush about holding one in my hand.

Oh definitely a villain 🙂
A book you want everyone to read.
Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks.
I felt every emotion reading it. Such a wonderful book.
Recommend an underrated book.
The Dead Ladies Project: Exiles, Expats, and Ex-Countries by Jessa Crispin
Fascinated by exile, Crispin travels an itinerary of key locations in its literary map, of places that have drawn writers who needed to break free from their origins and start afresh.
The last book you finished.
Mussolini’s Island by Sarah Day ~ Based on the true story of the persecution of gay and bisexual men in fascist Italy.
Weirdest thing you used as a book mark.
A hair elastic!! I was desperate 🙂

Historical Fiction
Psychological Thrillers
Contemporary Fiction

Depends on the type of novel. Short in psychological. Longer in historical

Book to movie.
Name the first three books you think of.
Tuesday’s with Morrie ~ Mitch Albom

Books that make you laugh or cry?
Cry…..I’m a sucker for an historical novel based on true facts that packs emotion

Yes I do!!! A cover is the first thing I look at on the shelf and on a table

Standalone.
I now am passing the Rapid Fire Book Tag gauntlet to:
Abbie at Bloomin’ Brilliant Books
Katherine at Bibliomanic UK
Juliet at Bookliterati Book Review
Glad you had fun doing this – I quite like the look of The Dead Ladies Project so I’ll check that out. xx
Thanks Jill. I certainly did. I came across that book by listening to a podcast one morning. Very interesting person. She left social media last year due to some issues. Good insight into the world of people like Maud Gonne, Nora Barnacle and many more. I read it before I ever started reviewing but it was the book that made me think I could….. that I wanted to share my feelings on books with folk… xx
This is a fun tag!! Really enjoyed reading! Thanks so much for the nomination…..!!!
So very welcome Katherine. 🙂 xx
Thanks for the nomination, looking forward to taking part in this xxx
Enjoy Abbie. So very welcome. xx
I’ve used a hair elastic as a book mark as well! Usually I grab the first thing to hand. Great post x
O thank you so much for commenting Vicki. So very appreciated. I really enjoyed writing this post. Change from reviewing!!!
